Reverend Joshin Dennis Fujimoto

Reverend Joshin Dennis Fujimoto comes to us from San Leandro, California and is the son of Madame Suiyo Fujimoto and the late Reverend Hogen Fujimoto. He is also the brother of BCA minister Reverend Ken Fujimoto of the Buddhist Church of Lodi.

Reverend Fujimoto received his B.A. from the University of California, Berkeley, in 1974, and his M.A. from the Institute of Buddhist Studies, Berkeley, in 1980. He received his Tokudo Ordination in San Francisco in 1981 and his Kyoshi Ordination in Kyoto, Japan, in 2004.

Rev. Fujimoto is the owner of Wood and Stone, established in 1980, to design and create sculptural art pieces, primarily of cast stone or metal.
