Bishops Greeting
It gives me great pleasure to extend to you my greetings on this occasion of the 2004 Northwest Buddhist Convention.
The theme you have chosen for this year's convention, "Everyone and Everything: My Teacher", speaks to one of the fundamental teachings of Buddhism. As we live each day, we are constantly reminded through the teachings of the Dharma of the interdependent and interconnected nature of all things around us.
May this weekend's activities shed light on the truth that all people and all things are our teacher.
